Businesses Need To Provide More Cybersecurity Training

More than half of respondents – 56 percent – said their current employers do not provide the cyber security team with the right level of training to keep up with business and technology risk.

Until that happens – assuming it does – security service providers can fill the gap, at least among their small and mid-size business clients.

One solution provider, CornerstoneIT, based in Mentor, Ohio, has been stepping up with workshops and training for its mostly small and mid-size business clients, according to President and CEO Raymond Paganini.

"We are looked at as the experts," he told IT Best Of Breed. For some customers, he added, the education is "an eye opener."
