Positions in cloud computing – with certifications or not – pulled down the highest average salary last year in the U.S. and Canada, at $114,043. (Globally, the average cloud salary ranked fifth, at $75,365.) Among the certifications that were tossed into this category: three Google Cloud Platform certifications, CompTIA Cloud Essentials (CEP), which registered an average annual salary of $105,498 and four Microsoft Azure certifications, whose averages ranged from $89,469 to $119,128.
