Does Business Size Matter?

Yes and no.

Organizations with more than 1,000 employees will make up over 40 percent of all IT spending. This may not be a surprise to most solution providers, but what’s interesting is that small businesses with less than 10 employees -- which accounts for around 70 million organizations -- will provide roughly 25 percent of all IT spending over the next three years.

But the fastest growth in IT spending over the next few years will come from medium to large businesses. Organizations with 100 to 999 employees will increase their IT spending rate at a CAGR of nearly 5 percent.
