For starters, it can automate previously manual tasks that can allow for more continuous integration, the company believes. DevOps also accelerates testing while nudging developers to write automated test cases before they build the code, rather than wait until the end of the process, thus speeding up development.

That, and the fact that the operations people are involved from the start rather than much later in the process, can promote planning ahead, Logicalis believes.
