Percentage of business that cloud security platform company Armor would like to do through the channel, after the firm landed $89 million in financing, the company announced Wednesday. President Jared Day said Arnor will now set its sights on further expanding its channel strategy. He told CRN that Armore has traditionally been a direct sales company, with around 10 to 20 percent of its business through the channel. Day said Armor has already transitioned to having 30 to 40 percent of business done through partners.
The financing is "a huge vote of confidence," said Rudy Campos, vice president of sales, marketing, and partner alliances at Chicago-based FlexManage. The funding is "really good news for us as a partner."
