Robert Keblusek, CTO of Sentinel Technologies, of Downers Grove, Ill., on rumors that networking giant Cisco is developing a new networking operating system software, Lindt, that would extend its software-defined, Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) prowess to a broader array of Cisco switches, including older models:

"This would change the game. I could absolutely offer more application-intelligent and automated networks to customers with Lindt. We would be offering more customers application-centric networks with a lower price with this new offering. If this opens up things such as Tetration Analytics, the story would even be more powerful."
