Since then, Valiant has been growing steadily year over year, with around 15 to 20 percent annual revenue growth using only Clancy as a sales force.
Valiant also launched an offshoot company Valiant Cloud in December of last year, led by Georg Dauterman. Valiant Cloud focuses exclusively on cloud products and services for a variety of industries. The two companies partner on some cloud projects, but also operate independently.
"It's a good way to diversify our portfolio because one consistent in this industry is change, and I don't want to be the last guy in the MSP business if the MSP business starts contracting in the next five years," Clancy said.
Going forward, Clancy said he expects cloud and low cost storage to be the big trends for the creative industry. He said he also sees his clients shifting to smaller, more nimble organizations that are able to tackle bigger opportunities in the market.
