The fees for legal services through CompTIA members start at $99, Liutikas said, with most running in the $300 to $500 range. ITLA offers all of its legal services at guaranteed lowest prices to CompTIA members.

Less expensive services would include MNE formation, Liutikas said, while more typically-priced services include IP protection and MSP agreement negotiation.

Other services frequently requested by solution providers include new entity and trademark filings, Liutikas said.

VARs and MSPs also struggle with a lack of pricing transparency, Liutikas said, often not knowing beforehand how much it will cost to fulfill their legal needs. But by going through ITLA, he said the price structure is completely transparent.
