First-quarter sales for FireEye, up 3 percent year over year. The security vendor credited its renewed commitment to channel partners for part of that growth, along with transitions in its product portfolio and cost structure. Billings and revenue beat company expectations of between $160 million and $166 million, and $130 million and $150 million, respectively. CEO Kevin Mandia said FireEye also carried out multiple transitions the company promised to undergo, including moving disparate products into a single platform, from on-premises appliances to the cloud, and from products to subscriptions.
