Industrial A Good Bet

In the app developer world, the industrial IoT segment is almost as mature as mobile, according to VisionMobile. 

Industry titans like Cisco, Intel, AWS, SAP, Salesforce and IBM have jumped into the industrial IoT market, which spans the globe. This week, India-based industrial IoT startup Alitzon Systems raised $4 million in a Series A funding found led by Wipro's venture capital arm. In December, one of the world's top solution providers, Accenture, agreed to acquire industrial IoT consultancy firm Cimation.

"Developers are a driving force in every IoT industry and a source of competitive advantage," said the report. "Every IoT company should master the human art of managing developer ecosystems."
