5. Mobile Data Show No Signs Of Slowing Down

According to Cisco, global mobile data traffic will grow two times faster from 2015 to 2020 than will global fixed IP traffic. Annual global mobile data traffic will grow more than eightfold, reaching 366.8 exabytes in 2020, up from 44.2 exabytes in 2015, driven by the surge of mobile users, smart devices, mobile video and 4G networks.

What does this mean for partners? As mobile data increases, customers will become more aware of the need for mobile security for employee devices, as well as management services for the data on phones. And that will widen the door to more revenue-generating opportunities for solution providers to secure, maintain and oversee corporate data traffic.
