In addition to mobile devices, voice-over-WiFi is poised to grow by 2020, according to Cisco. While previous VoWi-Fi offerings had limitations that affected adoption and end-user experiences, today’s carrier-grade VoWi-Fi services can be delivered to more devices, such as Wi-Fi-only tablets.

According to Cisco, by 2020 Vo-WiFi minutes of use will account for half of all mobile IP voice traffic, meaning that devices such as tablets will use Vo-WiFi services.
For partners, the explosion of voice-over WiFi means more demand for mobile networking and device management solutions.
