Communications services provider Windstream has been busy over the past several months, completing a $1.1 billion merger with EarthLink in February, then following that up two months later by announcing an agreement to buy Broadview Networks in an all-cash transaction valued at $227.5 million as Windstream seeks more business from the small and medium-sized business market.
