A Hybrid Mindset

Technology buyers are unequivocal about the shape of the data center’s future. Almost 90 percent of IT and business leaders say open technology and hybrid cloud make up the best platform for a software-defined data center, saying application and data portability, along with seamless process management, trump proprietary vendor hardware and solutions. This would suggest that solution providers need to remain open to discussing -- and able to integrate -- a wide range of technologies to best fit the customers’ needs as they move one step at a time into the cloud and software-defined environments.
