Catalysts For Business Transformation

Four in ten respondents to CompTIA's survey said the cloud is pushing them in new directions.

More than half of solution providers - but just a quarter of MSPs - deemed cloud a major factor behind their business change efforts, with CompTIA positing that MSPs can adopt a cloud practice without having to significantly change their business model.

Second to the cloud is new customer demands, with 36 percent of respondents citing that as a catalyst for business transformation.

CompTIA said this has been driven primarily by enterprise-level end customers, where the people purchasing technology has moved beyond IT departments to areas such as marketing or human resources.
