Addressing Sub-Hyperscale Customers

Just below the hyperscale level is another large, growing market that includes research organizations, oil and gas, web tech, telecommunications service providers and hosting companies that are not quite hyperscale, but still massive in scale. For them, Dell introduced Dell Datacenter Scalable Solutions, which is based on minimalistic server design, open and industry-standard systems management, and what Dell sees as the right mix of performance, flexibility and scalability.
