Cisco ACI + VMware NSX = $$$

In a Q&A session with the media at Cisco Live, Zorawar Biri Singh (pictured), CTO and senior vice president for Cisco's cloud services and platforms, said he's "optimistic" that Cisco has a solid roadmap ahead regarding the convergence between ACI and VMware's NSX.

This should be extremely good news for solution providers as the tighter integration between the two leading SDN technologies will lead to greater adoption of SDN in the market. Channel partners might want to begin conversations with customers about deploying ACI and NSX together, which many enterprises have already done.
