Despite Differences, Millennials Share Attitudes Of Older Employees

Millennials Don't Need Constant Praise Or Rewards

Like earlier generations, Millennials are looking for an ethical and fair boss, with 35 percent of both Boomers and Millennials listing this as a top quality they seek in a boss.

Millennials also value a dependable boss who readily shares information, yet list a boss who asks for their input as last on the priority list.

It's actually Gen X employees, not Millennials, who believe that everyone on a successful team should be rewarded. Some 64 percent of Gen Xers agreed with this statement, compared with 55 percent of Millennials and 44 percent of Baby Boomers.
